The brief for this University project was to design a product for an existing brand/design firm, that follows the aesthetic and ethos they have developed. In this case, it was Wishbone Design Studio.
Please note that the following product was designed as a thought exercise as part of a university project, and is not related to Wishbone Design in any way.
Following the ethos of Wishbone Design Studio meant designing a product that:
Has a wide target age range, prolonging the products life.
Promotes vestibular development.
Is an indoor and outdoor toy.
Uses sustainable materials, either being constructed of timber, or their in-house developed recycled nylon.
Is highly customizable.

Development
A large part of the development of this project was ensuring that the cover that made it into a baby bouncer worked, and was strong enough to hold a child.
For this, a test rig was made, and multiple iterations of the cover were made, experimenting with the strength and tightness of the elastic band.
Testing the strength of the cover, which is plenty strong enough to hold a small child without the elastic giving.
